Registration
The registration opens in 3 March 2026.
Registration fee
- Registration fee early bird discount: SEK 3500 + VAT (4375 SEK incl. VAT) for registration by June 17, 2026.
- Registration fee: SEK 3900 + VAT (4875 SEK incl. VAT) for registration after June 17.
Registration fee includes conference proceedings, access to all pleney sessions of the conference, lunch and coffee breaks on 24 and 25 September 2026.
Participants from Sweden
Participants from Sweden can choose to pay either by credit card or invoice. Invoices will be sent as electronic invoices (e-faktura) when possible, or as PDF attachments via email.
Participants from outside Sweden
All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish Krona). Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer (invoice).
Invoice for bank transfer
Upon selecting this payment method, an invoice with bank transfer details (such as bank account number, IBAN, etc.) will be sent. The invoice is generated manually and is typically sent within a few days of registration.
The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges or fees related to the payment.
Credit card payment
We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.
For your security, our payment system is integrated with 3D Secure to protect online transactions. Your card must be enrolled in Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. If you’re unsure whether your card is connected, please contact your bank for confirmation and guidance on how to enroll.
According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees. This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country in which the conference takes place.
Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations “statliga myndigheter” (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.
For payment by credit card, VAT will always be charged, also for participants from “statliga myndigheter”.
Cancellation conditions
Cancellation
Cancellations shall be made in writing to the conference administration office.
- Cancellations made by 13 August 2026 the total amount of your registration will be refunded apart from a cancellation fee of SEK 750.
- Cancellations made after 13 August 2026 will not be refunded.
- Cancellations of only separate activities or meals/dinner are non-refundable.
Replacement of participant
Should you be unable to attend the conference, you have the opportunity to send someone else in your place. If this is the case, your registration need to be adjusted as soon as possible. Kindly contact the conference administration office at svere-ipbis2026@akademikonferens.se
